HanseYachts appoints Istion Yachting as new charter and sales partner in Greece
HanseYachts AG is further strengthening its international sales and charter activities by partnering with Istion Yachting, one of the most established companies in the Mediterranean yachting industry.
With 35 years of experience, Istion Yachting offers a comprehensive range of services including yacht charter, sales and management. The company operates an extensive network of 11 charter bases across Greece and one additional base in Croatia. Its fleet includes more than 250 sailing yachts available for bareboat charter, alongside a carefully selected portfolio.
As part of the new partnership, Istion Yachting will act as both a charter and sales partner for HanseYachts. The partnership provides HanseYachts with an even stronger presence in the important Greek and wider Mediterranean market while creating additional opportunities to introduce HanseYachts brands to an international charter clientele.
Maxim Neumann, Chief Sales Officer of HanseYachts AG:
“We are very pleased to have Istion Yachting on board as our new partner. This is an important next step in our international sales strategy. Istion combines an excellent market position with decades of experience in the charter business and a strong professional network. This makes the company a very valuable partner for us. We want to further strengthen our presence in the Mediterranean, and we see significant potential in combining charter and sales.”
Istion Yachting is a member of MYBA and GYA and is certified according to the international ISO 9001
Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management standards. These certifications reflect the company’s commitment to operational excellence, continuous improvement and responsible environmental practices.
The partnership is part of HanseYachts’ strategy to further develop its international dealer network with strong and professional partners. In addition to traditional yacht sales, the company is placing increasing emphasis on the connection between charter, customer experience and long-term brand development.
“We want to grow in markets where our brands have strong long-term potential. Greece and the wider Eastern Mediterranean are clearly among them. With Istion Yachting, we have found the right partner to further develop our presence in this important market,” adds Maxim Neumann.
