TANSU YACHTS JOINS THE WORLD OF MADE IN ITALY

Tansu Yachts of Turkey has just signed an agreement with entrepreneur Angelo Casartelli, the visionary founder of Sundeck Yachts and the Group that recently acquired the prestigious American brand, Luhrs Boats, which will also soon become yet another shining example of Made in Italy quality.

This is a highly strategic move for both the two entrepreneurs and future Tansu Yachts. Riza Tansu and Angelo Casartelli founded Tansu Yachts Co. in the USA two years ago and are now launching their partnership with designs that reflect the Tansu Yachts philosophy which itself has already won over a large number of owners.

TANSU YACHTS – Two yachts sold and four projects that have emerged from four different sets of negotiations provide the starting point for this partnership which is founded on the solid successes delivered by the two businessmen in different segments with the yards they founded.

The aim of the partnership is to build steel and aluminium yachts of between 35 and 60m designed by Riza Tansu, projects that thus far have revealed striking formal severity and conceptual originality clearly influenced by military vessels. Pivotally, however, they also deliver modern, minimal interiors that are bright, airy and very comfortable.

From this point on, Tansu Yachts’ superb technical and stylistic quality will be flanked by typically Italian signatures, particularly in terms of the quality of their fit-outs and standard of finish.

Each of the yachts built will be entirely fitted out at facilities owned by the Italian-based Group skippered by Casartelli, with the work carried out by quality craftspeople with proven experience in a nautical district internationally renowned as a hub of excellence.

The news will be officially announced at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show 2021. Visitors and sector professionals alike can experience at first-hand the impressively attractive and exclusive Tansu Yachts range, by visiting the 39m superyacht, Belka, the last yacht built and launched in 2020 in Turkey.

Two new projects, a 40m and a 50m, will also be unveiled to the public. The 50m is a 490 GT yacht clothed in slender lines and brimming with leading-edge technology. It shares the strong military-influenced styling of that is a signature of Riza Tansu’s work, with its 40m sibling.
Angelo Casartelli and Riza Tansu will also be presenting further projects under development and negotiation at the Monaco Yacht Show, specifically a new 24m Explorer with a GRP hull and superstructure that will be built entirely in Fano (ITA). Another project still is also currently being finalised for a repeat client who returned to Tansu Yachts to develop a larger new craft.
The launch of the partnership between the two companies/businessmen augurs well, thanks to a well-stocked orders book, new projects based on the Tansu Yachts philosophy in the process of being finalised, and the superior construction quality that the Fano/Ancona (ITA) nautical hub can offer.
The Tansu Yachts stand at the Monaco Yachts Show is located in area QH5 bis, and the 39m BELKA can be visited at berth L04.
