Following the success of the Wajer 38 S with outboards, the Wajer 44 S couldn’t stay behind. Now available with four powerful Mercury V10 Verado outboards, the 44 S brings a new dimension to performance and freedom on the water.
With outboards and the ability to beach, the Wajer 44 S changes how you explore the coast. From fast offshore cruising to gently landing on a secluded shore, it combines our signature design and comfort with new functionality that opens up an entirely new way to experience your Wajer.
With the quadruple 400hp Mercury Verado V10 outboards as standard, the Wajer 44 S delivers confident power and exceptional handling that awakens the senses. With the the 425hp version, exhilarating top speeds up to 50+ knots (58+ mph) can be reached.
Aimed at the US market, the outboard-powered 44 S is joystick-operated. Mercury’s multi-engine joystick system interprets the commands and instantly synchronizes throttle, shifting, and steering controls to move the Wajer 44 S in any preferred direction.
Docking, driving, or collecting guests from a Super Yacht couldn’t be simpler. Move the stick in any direction – even sideways or rotating in place – and the system acts accordingly. Low-speed maneuverability, required for effortless docking and tight-quarter handling, can be further enhanced with the optional bow thrusters, which fully integrate with this system.
Mercury’s advanced engineering matches Wajer Yachts’ pursuit of whisper-quiet operations. The quad 5.7L V10 outboards guarantee minimal engine noise and vibration, allowing guests to savor tranquil moments and intimate conversation at sea.
To support the high-performance demands of outboards, the 44 S with outboards features a larger fuel tank, extending your range for longer (or faster) journeys.
Versatile boarding options
Between the engine pairs, there’s sufficient space for the swim ladder. Alternatively there is an optional hydraulically operated passerelle – serving as a swim ladder when lowered, and as secure boarding access when raised.
Optional bulwark doors on both port and starboard sides of the Wajer 44 S provide convenient side entry from dock to deck, ensuring a gracefull arrival.
