Moonen Yachts

Following the recent sale of the ninth hull in its acclaimed Martinique series, the 37.4m (122’8”) Moonen 122 Martinique YN207, Moonen Yachts marks a major construction milestone with the successful marriage of her high-tensile steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

The joining ceremony took place last week at Moonen’s facilities in North Brabant, southern Netherlands, where most of the shipyard’s construction and outfitting activities are undertaken. With the primary structure now unified, YN207 moves into the outfitting phase, during which all technical systems and interior elements will be installed ahead of commissioning, sea trials and delivery scheduled for January 2027.

Moonen’s shipyard encompasses dedicated mechanical departments, an in-house carpentry and specialised paint workshops, metal fabrication facilities and climate-controlled outfitting sheds. This comprehensive infrastructure enables the shipyard to maintain rigorous quality control and meticulous attention to detail.

YN207 is the second Moonen 122 Martinique to feature a bespoke interior by Vripack Yacht Design. Naval architecture is by Diana Yacht Design, while the exterior styling by René van der Velden emphasises relaxed outdoor living. Highlights include a spacious Sun Deck with a custom Jacuzzi incorporated at the request of her American owners.
