A new Lürssen is born: Project ZIGGY enters outfitting
Lürssen has reached a key construction milestone in northern Germany, with the steel architectural structure now complete for the 101.4-metre Project ZIGGY.
Project ZIGGY enters outfitting-This latest new build unites Lürssen with the British design studio Harrison Eidsgaard. The collaboration is well established, and the studio is responsible for both the exterior and interior design of this project. The result is a coherent material language expressed through glass and steel.
Her architectural form is muscular yet agile. Angular surfaces are punctuated by vast panes of glazing – among the largest structural glass elements ever fitted on a Lürssen. Her broad, uncluttered foredeck is fully certified for helioperations, while cascading aft decks accommodate a sequence of pools and wellness spaces.
This is a high-volume yacht designed to be lived on board, with a general arrangement and extensive amenities developed to support seven-star service over extended periods, wherever in the world she cruises.
Project ZIGGY was commissioned by a North American client, who was introduced to Lürssen by Thom Conboy & Associates. WMG is the Owner’s Representative for the build.
Following this technical launch, Project ZIGGY will now enter outfitting ahead of a 2028 delivery.
