HANSE YACHTS AG EXPANDS DISTRIBUTION NETWORK IN HONG KONG
Todd Barr, Amani Gong and Olivier Decamps join forces to strengthen Hanse Yachts’ presence in Hong Kong Hanse Yachts AG is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with renowned marine entrepreneur Todd Barr, long-standing business partner Amani, and experienced industry professional Olivier Decamps to expand the brand’s presence and market share in Hong Kong.
A former airline captain, Todd Barr moved to Hong Kong in 2000 and immediately turned his lifelong passion
for the marine industry into a successful career. He founded his first company distributing marine products and
quickly became the authorized dealer for several international boat brands. Building on this foundation, Todd
later launched his own yacht brand, Lifestyle Yachts, where he designed and built tailor-made yachts to meet
his clients’ needs.
With further ventures such as Calm Water Management and AquaHub, Todd has established himself as one
of the most respected and experienced figures in the Asian marine industry. Coming from a professional
marine family in Brisbane, Australia, his entrepreneurial drive and deep industry knowledge have shaped a
career spanning more than two decades. Alongside his business achievements, Todd remains a passionate
sailor, competing both inshore and offshore in a wide variety of racing and cruising yachts. Joining forces with
Chinese local Amani Gong who has an extensive background in the manufacturing, import and export
industry. Together they now service the mainland and local market as well as foreign expatriates, and can
offer “One Stop Shop” solutions including in-house mooring and management.
Together, Todd Barr, Amani, and Olivier Decamps now represent and combine unique expertise, market
knowledge, and extensive customer networks. This strong partnership will allow Hanse Yachts to expand its
reach and further establish the brand in one of Asia’s most dynamic boating markets.
