Hallberg-Rassy 57
The world premiere for the all-new Hallberg-Rassy 57 will take place at Scandinavia’s largest sailboat show, Open Yard in Ellös on Orust, West Sweden, 24-26 August 2018.
This world cruiser delivers the best of the Hallberg-Rassy concept combined with the latest in design and development from Frers. With modern hull lines, twin rudders, twin wheels, both performance and handling are clearly improved. It sounds like a contradiction but the boat is both modern and classic in one. The upright bow and stern, wide transom, combined with classic and pretty sheerline, the characteristic blue Hallberg-Rassy stripe with rubbing strake below, teak toe rail and the legendary wind screen give the boat a special charismatic character. The hull also provides more living space and at the same time sensational ten cubic meters of deck storage. The whole interior sole is in one level throughout the boat and has lots of natural light. The saloon sofa is a record 2,70 m long. Both the aft cabin and the forward cabin are generous enough each to be an owner’s cabin.
At the Open Yard, there is both a Hallberg-Rassy 57 on display in the water and under construction. Production with many other boats may be viewed, also at the weekend. There are around 80 other boats on display and over 100 shore exhibitors at the Open Yard weekend.
