OFFICINA ITALIANA DESIGN

Officina Italiana Design with 6 new RIVA yachts

OFFICINA ITALIANA DESIGN- 2025 is already shaping up to be an intense and dynamic year for the Riva brand and, by extension,
Officina Italiana Design. The designs conceived exclusively by the studio produce the stunning,
harmonious lines that transform yachts into symbols of beauty, luxury and elegance across the boating
world.
Following an exceptional start with the presentation of the new Riva Iseo Super at BOOT Düsseldorf
2025 in January, a few months later, on a starry June night, during a Riva Private World Premiere at
the historic shipyard in Sarnico, four more magnificent models were unveiled: the Aquariva
Special, the Riva Cento and the Riva 58′ Capri. This brings the number of units unveiled in just the
first half of this year to four already!

For Officina Italiana Design, which has also recently welcomed two new names to the design team
(Matteo Agostoni, Chief Interior Designer, and Lorenzo Damora, Designer), this represents a period
as busy as it is magical, a moment that has generated a great deal of excitement and enthusiasm
throughout the studio. Five models, each with her own character and identity, catering to the tastes
and variety of admirers who appreciate the world’s most famous and sought-after brand.
The Riva Iseo Super embodies a perfect combination of heritage and innovation. The result of the
same pioneering design that gave rise to the Riva El-Iseo – the brand’s first fully electric boat presented
in 2024 – this 27-foot runabout offers Riva’s typical timeless elegance, paired with technological and
stylistic solutions that breathe new life into a true legend.
“The Iseo Super is the brand’s entry-level gateway into a sector in which we wholeheartedly believe:
that of sustainability and responsible yachting,” comment Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta.

The Aquariva Special, the only Riva to achieve the coveted Special epithet since the Aquarama, the
iconic yacht that has been in production for 24 years, has been awarded a refined refresh of lines by
Officina Italiana Design. “The Aquariva Special is now a yard icon and signature design by OID,”
point out Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta.

The Riva Cento celebrates the 100th Rivamare 38′, one of the brand’s most popular models, with a
limited edition of 12 units available. Among the model’s stand-out features are new functional and
stylistic details that enhance the yacht’s elegance, further elevating the onboard experience.
“The Riva Cento represents a significant milestone, celebrated with contemporary and eye-catching
details,” remark Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta.

The Riva 58′ Capri, the first of a new generation of sport open yachts, combines peak performance
and comfort while upholding the range’s typical dynamic yet elegant DNA, presented in a sleeker,
more sculpted, contemporary design. “The Riva 58 Capri is a boat conceived to fully enjoy the sea,
even for several days at a time, in total freedom and comfort,” say Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta.
The recent presentation of the four models was followed by two key summer launches: the 112′
Dolcevita Super and the flagship Riva 54METRI.

“Officina Italiana Design is currently brimming with energy, buzzing with ideas, inspiration, and
work to be done. Never has the name ‘Officina’ (literally “workshop”) seemed more appropriate,”
commented Sergio Beretta, CEO, and Mauro Micheli, Head of Design.

Officina Italiana Design has also announced the launch of its new Instagram page, which joins its
existing Facebook page and official website packed with information and constantly updated.
“All this energy forced us to reflect on just how important it is to maintain a close bond with the
brand’s admirers. This is why we decided to create an Instagram page, and do it our way, in a more
intimate and personal manner, that is, rather than in a typical institutional way. Because knowing
the minds behind OID means knowing our passion, our desire, it means seeing what we see and what
turns our heads. Designing a Riva is more than balancing lines nor is it the sum of harmonious shapes
and volumes; it is the outcome of what sparks our interest in everyday life, from travelling, from those
we meet and from the relationships we establish. Following us on IG means stepping into our
creativity, abandoning classic patterns of yacht design and accessing the lush garden of a design
process made up of a kaleidoscope of influences and stimuli. See you on our IG and FB pages,”
explained Sergio Beretta, CEO, and Mauro Micheli, Head of Design.
