HanseYachts AG Continues Its Turnaround in Profitability Despite Market-Driven Revenue Decline

HanseYachts AG today announces its preliminary financial results for the first half of fiscal year 2025.


Preliminary Key Financial Highlights (YTD June 2025 vs. YTD June 2024):

  • Revenue: 77,37 million € (previous year: 90,70 million €)
  • Operating EBITDA: 6,15 million € (up from 3,95 million €) *
  • Operating Result: 1,08 million € (up from -1,18 million €) *
  • Excludes restructuring-related gains and losses for comparability
    The revenue decline reflects broader market conditions impacting the global boatbuilding industry.
    Nevertheless, HanseYachts delivered a significant improvement in profitability.
    Strong Operating Performance
    Operating EBITDA rose to 6,15 million €, reflecting the impact of efficiency initiatives, optimized
    production workflows, and a more focused sales approach. The results confirm the company’s return
    to sustainable operating performance in its core business.
  • Increase of Operative Result incl. One-Time Restructuring Effects
    Productive discussions with the financing banks, the federal state, and the previous majority
    shareholder have resulted in an agreement on a comprehensive debt waiver, which has had a positive
    effect on the Profit including restructuring effects: Net Profit including Restructuring Effects: 23,16
    million €.
