Over 250 motoryachts at major boat show in the Netherlands
Sneek, the Netherlands: Motorbootsneek.nl has already firmly established itself on the boat show calendar. The rising visitor numbers and positive reactions show that an exhibition which focuses exclusively on motoryachts is a popular choice. Moreover, the number of companies involved in the boat show is also increasing, growing from the modest original number to ten at the 2011 event. As a result there will be more than 250 new and pre-owned yachts on display at the Motorbootsneek.nl boat show, which will run from 4 to 6 November at the ’t Ges watersports park in Sneek.
One of the major strengths of the event is that the yacht builders involved show pretty much their complete range – from entry model boats to mini superyachts, new and previously owned. In addition, all the yards involved open their doors during the show. This gives visitors a unique look behind the scenes at the company that might potentially be building their new vessel. And by touring the different departments within the yard, they can also see how the yacht is actually made. Sea trials are also available for serious prospects. Also present are a few of the main suppliers like Yanmar motors, Vetus and Kuipers insurance. They will answer all your questions related to their products.

“The quality of the visiting public is a very important factor to us,” says Marije Mulder from De Valk Sneek. “Almost everyone who comes to the show is looking for a new boat and the visitors have every opportunity to peruse the many vessels on display in a peaceful ambience.”
