Growth Marina from 140 to 200 berths
Jirnsum – From spring 2014 on Jachthaven De Boarnstream has 200 fixed berths. For the Blue Flag carrier this means a growth of 60 berths, mainly in the range of 10 – 14 m boxes. Also a few large boxes (till 23 m) will be realised. Jachthaven De Boarnstream is a unique marina situated in the heart of the Frisian lake district near the old River De Boorne and the nostalgic village Jirnsum, bordering the “Princess-Margrietkanal”. It takes only 15 minutes by boat to go to Grou or the Sneekermeer. This beautiful location is also a perfect starting point for a cruise for example to
the IJsselmeer and the Waddenzee. By car it is only 5 minutes to the A32. The berths are large and have solid, high jetties which cover the entire length of the boat. Each berth has its own access to electricity. Each pier has access to running water. The large and spacious setup of the marina makes manoeuvring the yacht in and out its berth very easy. Jachthaven De Boarnstream distinguishes itself by its serenity, tidiness, luxury and nature. The marina has a very luxurious sanitary building with laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, Sepkey system and the marina is secured by a boom gate and automatic entrance gate. The marina is part of De Boarnstream Marine Group and therefore can offer full service: maintenance, refit, winter storage, 100-tonnes travel lift and extensive winter storage facilities.
