The dynamic Austro-Italian shipyard, celebrating 20 years of building made-to-order yachts, displayed two 28M Ilumen yachts with very different personalities.
“What sets Dominator apart from our competitors is our willingness to create beautiful vessels designed. No two Ilumens are ever the same. Thanks to our commitment and ability to customize each one to unusually high standards. Here at Cannes, it’s easy to see our bespoke philosophy at work with ZALANKA and HANAA,” said Dominator CEO Angela Pernsteiner.
ZALANKA, a cozy, comfortable yacht
The 28M ZALANKA, who wanted a cozy, comfortable yacht that felt like home, with as much natural light as possible. Luca Catino, Dominator’s interior designer, and decorator Giulia Sigismondi used brushed-oak wood paneling from the latest collection of Piero Lissoni and trimmed the walls with glossy. Georgette marble and vetrite glass by Sicis create a stately and sumptuous feel in the bathrooms, while the hand-laid Pialatto parquet floors and Hermès fabrics elegantly define the interior.
The hull’s metallic-bronze color (dubbed Dominator Gold) is offset nicely by turquoise and orange detailing inside the yacht. You will not miss this yacht in the marina.
HANAA is an Arabic word meaning “Happiness, Bliss and Felicity,” which can be felt from the very first moment stepping on board this unique masterpiece. To highlight a few details, she is equipped with a powerful tropical air-conditioner. Also it’s has an extendable, foldable, hi-lo adjustable table in the main salon and personalized, taupe-colored parquet in in the master suite. Splashes of fresh, orange-red Hermès fabrics were used throughout the interior. Rounding out the timeless color scheme created by the variety of materials on board and matching perfectly the Arabic owner’s local preferences.
