ANTIBES CELEBRATES YACHTING APRIL 24th-25th : 10 days to D day
Antibes Celebrates Yachting is just around the corner, in ten days yachting professionals will gather in Antibes to discover their craft, to get their domain of expertise, and communicate with the crew and captains who will visit the Marina for the occasion.
The Organizing Committee wanted about forty participants. They will be ready 50 of them who will take part in the event. ACY will also host some great units for sale: Sailing Yachts and Motor Yachts from 21 to 47 meters will be on display in front of the Bastion St Jaume and the Billionaires Quay.
April 24th and 25th will therefore be dedicated to yachting with many events that will bring you as much knowledge as entertainment.
The Organizing Committee has put together a tight schedule, there will be something for all professionals: crew, captains, owners, brokers and yacht management; seminars, demo, tastings and workshops will be spread over the 2 days’ event.
The seminars will be moderated in English with video support in French or moderated in French with an English medium. Moderators seminars, will answer your questions in both languages.
Everyone will learn about important current topics such as: how to succeed in your 2015 season, the new regulation of labour on board yachts, the Customs or the places reserved for moorings on the French Riviera. ..
Regarding the animations and demos ,there will be topics such as: how to do CPR massage or booting a life raft.
Whether it is the workshops on how to make flower arrangements, or tasting the many products carefully chosen by the provisioning companies like wines, champagnes, coconut water, biscuits, macaroons or Iberian ham … there will something to awaken all visitors senses.
Finally on Saturday April 25th, a dedicated to captains ‘petanque’ contest will be organized on site.

One shall recall that ACY was organized in a record time of two months, thanks to the solidarity and momentum support in favour of a yachting event in Antibes by the experts in the maritime field, but also by the hotels, shops and restaurants’ owners in the city of Antibes Juan-les-Pins, and let’s not forget the Port itself and the City of Antibes.
