Award winning boats on display
Every year a jury consisting of boating experts elects the best sailing boat, open motorboat, day cruiser and cabin cruiser. The finalists are announced on the opening day of the event and the winners are declared on Wednesday 11 February. The aim of the awards is to promote the boating industry and give recognition to the companies for their efforts in R&D.

A beach area is built around the pool in which visitors can enjoy refreshing drinks as they check out the shows.
Lure fishing is highlighted this year. A giant Rapala 3D fish tank is brought to the event and acknowledged fishermen show their skills in lure fishing on the spot.
Sailing stories and travel tips
On the Sailboat Harbour Stage (Purjehdussatama) visitors get a unique opportunity to hear sailing stories from adventurers around the world. The experts will also give tips on what preparations to make before trips as long sea voyages require careful planning.
