EYOTY 2014: Dehler 38 nominated!
Dehler yachts have been repeatedly awarded in the 50 year history of the dockyard. They have always been considered innovative, fast, beautiful and successful on the market. This has won them several awards. Now the new Dehler 38 has been nominated for the European Yacht Of The Year 2014. The Dehler team is very proud of this. A total of 20 yachts have been selected in four categories by an international jury made up of the eleven most influential yacht magazines in Europe. The nomination in the ‘Performance Cruiser’ class is confirmation for Dehler that the new Dehler 38 is an exceptionally successful, modern construction which opens up many opportunities for its owners. The standard model is a classic cruiser with modern lines (design by Judel/ Vrolijk & co) which is easy to sail and which offers a great deal of comfort below deck with a very innovative and seaworthy layout. The term ‘performance’ is not just an indicator of impressive sailing achievements for Dehler 38, but also a programme. The standard model can be developed by the selection of original accessories, completely dependent on the needs of its crew. Therefore, there are various keel variants, a performance carbon rig with expanded sail size, effective regatta deck equipment as well as racer electronics and foil sails. The opportunities to create the Dehler 38 to become an elegant, sporty to luxurious cruiser or a real cruiser racer are almost limitless! The Dehler 38 has only recently proven this. It won the international German championship in the offshore and inshore category!
