“Creation of the Monte Carlo project and birth of the range with which Beneteau is on the verge of revolutionizing the Luxury Motor Cruiser Flybridge segment. The new line will be developed by confirming all the Monte Carlo brand strong points and by extending to boats less than 60 feet the solutions and the attention to detail which distinguish the boats produced in the Italian boatyards. This is why the French group entrusted Nuvolari & Lenard with the design of this new line: a contract which strengthens the collaboration between the two, already partners in the creation of the Monte Carlo Yachts range.”

SAINT HILAIRE DE RIEZ, 7 December 2012. Monte Carlo Yachts created a timeless style, establishing new standards in the boating industry. Today, this style is also that of the Monte Carlo, By Monte Carlo Yachts, By Beneteau. The expertise of the greatest boat manufacturing group in the world and the magical lines of Nuvolari and Lenard, in collaboration with Pierangelo Andreani for the layout and interiors, have given rise to a new approach to luxury. Come to Dusseldorf and discover the MC5, which is ready and waiting. You will be met by elegance, sophistication and quality.
This new Monte Carlo range is the fruit of a special collaboration between Beneteau’s design office – whose know-how in the design of the hulls is second to none – and the designers, Nuvolari & Lenard, who lend their unique talent to the style, as well as the whole interior layout, in addition to the designer, Pierangelo Andreani, for the layout and interiors.
“We like to work with the Beneteau Group”, says Dan Lenard. “In their boatyards they know how to interpret our suggestions as best as possible. And it is not that simple. We are aware of this, since we always like to step well off the beaten path and away from trends. This is as much when we quote classic stylistic features as when we consider new solutions. It is fascinating to discover, each time, how much a mature and disciplined industrial process is required to create a real design product. Together, we want to show that where beauty is concerned, eyes are but an instrument. Real beauty appeals to reason and when it does it, we are really stirred by it.”

Designing a classic and yet innovative style capable of translating into concrete form the need for more responsible boating and re-examining the value of using luxury goods, together with the decision to combine the industrial know-how of this French Group, World leader in leisure boating, and the quintessence of Italian boat design, gave birth to the MC5.

The new collaboration between the naval architects Tanguy Le Bihan and Patrick Tableau has produced this new hull named “wave-cutter”. Its highly profiled bow has been specifically designed to cut through the waves in all sea conditions and to enable completely safe passage. Perfect seakeeping is maintained and output is improved by 8% in relation to the choice of a traditional hull.
Tank-tested in real sea conditions, her performance was assessed and the hull optimized with precision to achieve a perfect result. The architects chose to give the bow a tulip-shape to enable better wave deflection. The boat noses up less, the trim angle is improved and it has completely clear visibility.
Specifically designed to be equipped with Volvo IPS propulsion, the MC5 offers a choice between the IPS 500 and 600.
The perfect combination of the hull and chosen motorization make the MC5 a boat that provides better output than currently available on the market.
The MC5 style is exceptionally attractive. It is a sleek, timelessly beautiful distinctive yacht.
Characterized by strong identifiers, it can be distinguished by an unusual bow and by the Aqua Blue colour of its hull; a soft colour created especially for this model.
Its taut and assertive line is highlighted by the extraordinary flybridge which dominates it; a large convivial space with a full view of the sea.
Forward, the sunbath prolongs the rest and relaxation space in the open air.
To the rear, the large hydraulic bathing platform provides very easy stowage of the tender (Williams Jet type) or of a jet ski, and a most pleasant access to the sea. Barbecue fans will be

able to have an outdoor galley at this level.
In the cockpit, you can choose between a sailor cabin and a large storage locker.
The continuity of inside and out is provided by the sliding door which disappears entirely. The main deck then becomes a single unique living space, on a same level.
The galley is central to where everything happens, on the main deck, just left of the entrance. The finish has been studied meticulously. The matching colours are in shades of grey and the materials have been carefully selected. The worktop is made of Corian, and the units are lacquered in a light taupe colour.
The saloon space is situated as you move towards the wheelhouse. With seats facing each other, it is designed for sitting down and enjoying conversation together.
The piloting station is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment in terms of technology. Specifically designed, the pilot seat is made of supple tanned leather. The windshield offers incredible visibility due to its monoblock structure. Lastly, on the 2 levels, air conditioning is diffused by the ceilings. The temperature is consistent throughout the boat.

On board, everything has been carefully thought out: the choice of materials, the openings for light, and the harmony of colours and textures. Nothing is left to chance. Each detail counts and this is what makes the MC5 so luxurious and elegant. The finish has been given careful attention: the wood is brushed with a Soft Touch finish on the corners and the leather is tanned. Some of the furniture is covered in vegetable tanned leather, carefully polished by hand.
The night space is composed of 3 cabins, designed so that each offers its own identity, while keeping the overall harmony, all in various shades of grey. The master cabin and the VIP cabin are equipped with private bathrooms with separate showers in which the interplay of materials with transparency, stainless steel, grey brushed oak and lacquered solid woods, add to the elegance and refinement we find throughout the boat.
Full beam, the master cabin is located to the rear and has two large portholes which bathe it in light.
The VIP cabin is located to the front. The comfort is emphasized by 2 large overhead portholes on either side. The space is large and perfectly lit.
BENETEAU 04
The Guest cabin includes 2 bunk beds. Each bed has its own porthole.

Spaciousness, comfort and style are the features of the MC5. It embodies the same elegance and same values expressed by Monte Carlo Yachts. Discover its “Classic, Forward” style!
